Another Project Where We Simplified Things for Our Client

img_1840

JWI was appointed to  carry out the complete move of four prefilters from Nailsworth in Gloucestershire to three separate sites in Sussex. We handled the whole move for the client, preparing the prefilters for safe transport using top-hat crates, loading and transporting them by HIAB, then carrying out a contact lift using a Tadano ATF50 crane at each site to offload the prefilters and position them as directed by the client before levelling and bolting them down. The client got full separate health and safety documentation covering our work at each site and a full contract lift service and had only ourselves to liaise with in relation to each aspect of the move.

What a successful project once again!

Successful Lift & Shift Project

Successful Lift & Shift Project

JWI were employed by T Clarke to install six water pump skids to a mezzanine plant room for their M&E client at TIQ Stratford. Our lift & shift job scope included taking care of the whole process from collection and transport to site, offloading and lifting the skids to the mezzanine, using a Versalift 40/60 and positioning the skids. JWI also enjoyed working with T Clarke again.

“Challenging lift performed professionally once again.”

JWI going forward

Following the recent passing away of Jack Waghorn Senior we wanted to inform you straightaway about our plans for Jack Waghorn International Ltd over the coming years and months.

We will be continuing to grow and develop the company to serve clients’ needs as Jack would have wanted.

Sue Waghorn, who originally founded the company with Jack, and Jack B Waghorn, who had taken over the day to day operations of the company several years ago, will now be taking the company forward as Joint Managing Directors. Sue and Jack B are happy to meet or speak with you to exchange ideas on how we can make our relationship with you more successful. However, our commitment to serving you, to providing the best lifting, installing and machine moving experience for all our clients will continue unchanged.  We will also maintain the core customer service values Jack had of always being professional and friendly and of honouring all our commitments while building long term relationships with clients and suppliers so that we can add value on all your projects.

Jack Waghorn Snr

After an ongoing battle with pneumonia and various other internal infections it is with great sadness that we inform you that Jack Waghorn Snr passed away peacefully in Worthing Hospital on Saturday 18th June at 9am.

He had been in and out of Hospital, both in the UK and South Africa, since before Christmas with various re-occurences of Pneumonia which subsequently led to septicaemia and infection of other major organs.

His final hospital visit lasted three weeks and when he did pass away his wife Sue was by his bedside, holding his hand, which is a great comfort to all.
