Project Scope:

The Scope of Works included the following:

• Extraction of a Mezzanine Cheese Slicer and Packing Line.
• Temporary repositioning of the 2no adjacent lines.
• Offloading and positioning of the new cheese processing line in lieu of the extracted line.
• Relocation of the adjacent lines.
• All the above to be managed in a small closedown period in out of hour working to guarantee product was not delayed unnecessarily.

Solution:

Following receipt of the Tender Request, JWI attended site to complete a comprehensive review of the job scope and began to develop the quote based upon the available information at the time.

After an extensive number of meetings with the Client, Main Contractor and Consultant Engineers to develop a site specific tailored installation program and method statement, JWI were selected by the Client to undertake the specific role of plant movements for positioning of all the process plant machinery including project and logistical management of related site activities.

With a highly trained, experienced and skilled workforce, complemented by a team of project managers and specialists, JWI were able to offer a complete turnkey solution for this extremely demanding, time critical and complex project.
